Ringside Research: an AI Calling Platform for Real-Time Survey Analytics

Ringside Research’s surveys ran on manual telephone outreach, calling through lists of thousands of numbers by hand. That approach put a hard ceiling on what the research could deliver: throughput capped by the number of human callers, respondents’ language and phrasing varying widely enough to make consistent interpretation difficult across a large caller team, manually captured answers prone to transcription error, quality control that meant reviewing calls after the fact by hand, and by the time thousands of calls were transcribed and tallied, time-sensitive research risking missing its window entirely.

TechTrapture partnered with Ringside Research to design and build an AI calling platform on Google Cloud and Gemini, replacing manual outreach with automated, consent-bound calling and real-time intelligent analytics, without compromising the accuracy the research depended on.

A survey administrator provides the questions and an approved, consented number list, and the platform handles the rest. It places calls only against that approved list, keeping outreach compliant by design. Gemini-powered conversational AI conducts each call, interprets responses across language and phrasing variation, and captures structured, intelligent answers rather than raw audio to transcribe later. Results are available as calls complete, not after a manual transcription and tallying cycle, giving research teams live visibility into results as the study runs.
